Your kitchen takes more use than any other room in the house, so we start with how you use it. Where you set the groceries down. Whether two people can work in there at once. Whether the island is a place anybody actually sits. Then we build it: solid wood cabinetry, quartz or granite counters, tile, lighting, and custom range hoods, installed by our own carpenters.

Owner, CEO

Family Owned. Family Run. Family Values.

Danielson and Associates has been remodeling homes since 1978, when
Kevin Danielson started the company building custom woodwork for high-end homes in northern Michigan. We brought that same shop-trained approach to Kentucky, and today we handle anything that has to do with a home: kitchens, bathrooms, additions, basements, decks, and new construction for homeowners in Louisville and Oldham County.

Most of what your project needs, we do ourselves. Design and renderings, cabinetry and custom fabrication, product selections, and construction
oversight all run through one team and one point of contact. You are not driving to four showrooms and repeating yourself to four different people. You call the office, you talk to someone who knows your job, and a designer takes it the rest of the way.

Anything to do with a home, . we do

Layouts that work the way you actually cook, with cabinetry, counters, and custom range hoods built and installed by our own crew.
Walk-in showers, freestanding tubs, and tile set over Schluter waterproofing, so what’s behind the wall lasts as long as what’s in front of it.
Whole-house work that brings an older home up to the way your family lives now, without stripping out the character you bought it for.
More square footage for a growing family, engineered and finished so the new space reads as original to the house.
Custom homes built start to finish on your lot, at sizes up to 10,000 square feet.
Unused square footage turned into family rooms, guest suites, and full baths, with built-ins to match the rest
of the house.
Cabinetry, built-ins, range hoods, and millwork made in our own shop, which is where this company started back
in 1978.
Decks, screened porches, and covered outdoor spaces built to hold up to Kentucky weather season after season.

Why Homeowners Choose Us

Communication That Doesn’t Drop Off

Someone answers the phone. Your designer stays on your job. You know what’s happening this week and what’s happening next week, start to finish.

Design and fabrication under one roof

Renderings before demolition, so you can see the room before it exists. Custom cabinetry, range hoods, and millwork built by our own woodworkers.

Finishes held to a standard

Our installers are particular to the point of being difficult about it. That’s the reason people call us back and refer their neighbors.

Transparent allowance packages

Your proposal spells out what’s included, fixtures, tile, cabinetry, hardware, so you know where your money is going before the first wall comes down.

We fight your warranty claims for you

One-year workmanship warranty, plus we handle manufacturer issues on your behalf. When a client’s fixture failed and the manufacturer had discontinued the line, we went back to them and had the part refabricated. You shouldn’t have to sit on hold with a faucet company.
