Teeth whitening systems
Complete home whitening kits — dental-strength carbamide peroxide gel, mouldable trays, storage case and clear instructions. Everything in one box, supplied direct for over 22 years.
About the system
Everything you need in one box
A complete system is the simplest place to start. You get the same professional-strength carbamide peroxide gel used by UK dentists, plus a pair of clear thermoforming trays that mould to your teeth in hot water at home.
There are many carbamide peroxide products on the market. ProWhiteSmile has supplied professional-strength gel for over 22 years. Our focus is quality, value, and honest information — not hype.
Whitening will not change the colour of crowns, veneers, composite bonding or existing fillings. If most of your front teeth are restored, a whitening system may not be the right product for you.

How to use
Step by step
01
Soften the tray in hot (not boiling) water for a few seconds until clear and pliable.
02
Place the tray over your teeth and press gently with your fingers and tongue for a snug fit. Trim if needed.
03
Brush and floss, then dry your trays so the gel adheres properly.
04
Place a small bead of gel along the front of each tooth in the tray — about a grain of rice per tooth.
05
Seat the tray and wipe away any excess gel from the gums with a clean finger.
06
Wear 30–60 minutes (22%) or several hours / overnight (16%). Rinse, store, repeat daily for 7–14 days.
FAQ
Common questions about whitening systems
What is included in a whitening system?
Each system includes dental-strength carbamide peroxide gel in 10ml syringes, a pair of thermoforming trays you mould at home in hot water, a storage case and step-by-step instructions. The Professional system also includes a shade guide.
Which strength should I choose, 16% or 22%?
16% is gentler and suits longer wear or sensitive teeth. 22% works faster in shorter 30–60 minute sessions. Both reach the same end shade over a full course.
How long does a course take?
Most people see visible results within 5–7 days and complete a course in 10–14 days. Heavier staining may take a little longer.
Will it work on crowns or veneers?
No. Carbamide peroxide only whitens natural enamel. Crowns, veneers, composite bonding and existing fillings stay the same shade.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
We do not recommend whitening during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Please wait until after.
How long do results last?
Typically 6–12 months depending on diet (tea, coffee, red wine, smoking accelerate re-staining). Most customers top up with a single syringe every few months.
