Teeth whitening gels
Dental-strength carbamide peroxide gel in large 10ml syringes — roughly five times the volume of the small 3ml syringes typically supplied in dental kits. Choose 16% for longer, gentler wear or 22% for shorter 30–60 minute sessions.
About the gel
Plain carbamide peroxide. Nothing else.
Carbamide peroxide is the active ingredient used by dentists for tray-based home whitening. It breaks down on contact with the tooth into hydrogen peroxide and urea, lifting stains from inside the enamel.
There are many carbamide peroxide products on the market. ProWhiteSmile has supplied professional-strength gel for over 22 years. Our focus is quality, value, and honest information — not hype.
The gel will not whiten crowns, veneers, composite bonding or existing fillings. Those will stay their current shade. If most of your front teeth are restored, whitening may not be the right product for you.
Large 10ml syringes
Around 20 applications per syringe — far more than the 3ml syringes in most dental kits.

How to use
Step by step
01
Brush and floss, then dry your trays so the gel adheres properly.
02
Place a thin ribbon of gel along the front of each tooth in the tray — about a grain of rice per tooth.
03
Seat the tray gently and wipe excess gel from the gums with a clean finger.
04
Wear for 30–60 minutes (22%) or up to several hours / overnight (16%).
05
Remove, rinse the tray and your mouth with cool water, store trays in the case.
06
Repeat daily for 7–14 days. Top up every few months as needed.
FAQ
Common questions about whitening gels
Is this the same gel dentists use?
Yes. Our carbamide peroxide gel is the same professional-strength formulation used in UK dental surgeries. We have supplied it direct to customers for over 22 years.
What is the difference between 16% and 22%?
16% is gentler — ideal for longer wear (a few hours, or overnight) and people prone to sensitivity. 22% works faster in shorter 30–60 minute sessions. Both reach the same end shade over a full course.
How many applications do I get per 10ml syringe?
Roughly 20 full upper and lower arch applications per 10ml syringe, depending on how generously you load your trays.
Will the gel work on crowns, veneers or fillings?
No. Carbamide peroxide only whitens natural tooth enamel. Crowns, veneers, composite bonding and existing fillings will stay the same shade.
Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
We do not recommend whitening during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Please wait until after.
How should I store the gel?
Keep it in the fridge between uses. Unopened it lasts well over a year; once opened, use within the season for best results.
