Is this the same gel dentists use?
Yes. Our carbamide peroxide gels contain the same active ingredient used by dental professionals. The primary difference is that dentist-supplied gels are often applied in a surgery setting under direct supervision. Our gels are designed for safe, effective home use with a custom-fitted tray.
What is carbamide peroxide?
Carbamide peroxide is a stable compound that breaks down into hydrogen peroxide and urea when in contact with water or saliva. It releases oxygen molecules that penetrate tooth enamel to lift stains. It is one of the most widely studied and used whitening agents in dentistry.
What is the difference between 16% and 22%?
The numbers refer to the concentration of carbamide peroxide. 22% is stronger and generally works faster, producing visible results in fewer sessions. 16% is milder and can be a better choice if you have sensitive teeth or prefer longer, gentler overnight sessions. Both can achieve similar end results; the difference is mainly speed and comfort.
How many treatments do I get per syringe?
A 10ml syringe typically provides around 20–30 applications, depending on how much gel you use per tray. We recommend using a thin ribbon — about 0.5ml or less per arch — so one syringe can last several weeks of regular use.
How long do results last?
Results vary depending on diet, oral hygiene, and lifestyle factors like smoking or coffee consumption. For most users, results last from 6 months to 2 years. Occasional top-up sessions once every few months help maintain brightness.
Can I use this with veneers or crowns?
No. Whitening gel only works on natural tooth enamel. It will not change the colour of veneers, crowns, bridges, or fillings. If you have dental work on visible teeth, whitening may create a mismatch. Consult your dentist if you are unsure.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
We recommend avoiding teeth whitening during pregnancy and breastfeeding as a precaution. Although no definitive studies prove harm, there is insufficient research to confirm safety. It is better to wait until after this period.
What trays does this gel work with?
Our gel works with any close-fitting dental tray: custom trays from your dentist, boil-and-bite thermoplastic trays, or LED system mouth trays. The key is that the tray holds the gel snugly against your teeth without leaking onto your gums.

Keep syringes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration can extend shelf life but is not required. Do not freeze. Once opened, use within 12 months for best results.
What if my teeth feel sensitive?
Some sensitivity is common during whitening and usually temporary. If it occurs, take a day or two off between sessions, use a lower concentration gel, or shorten your wear time. A desensitising or remineralising gel can also help. Persistent pain should be discussed with a dentist.
How quickly will I see results?
Most users notice a difference after 2–4 sessions. More significant staining may require 1–2 weeks of consistent use. Patience and consistency are more important than intensity.
